Mike now that the place seemed to have settled down immensely thought that it was the only proper thing to do. Beside which the XO was a darn big fellow! Mike’s mission at the moment was to speak to the Commander about the incident in sickbay. He was pretty sure that the XO would see his actions as some sort of weakness, but Mike didn’t much care. He had been raised a bit different than that. He could almost hear his great grandmother scolding him in his ear. ‘You just don’t talk to a fella like that Michael!’

Thus, it was then that Mike found himself in front of the XO’s door ringing the chime and hoping that he felt some restraint about murdering doctors.
