David nodded agreement with the “cheerful” doctor.

Ovik nodded as well. “This is agreeable.” He headed over to the pedal chair and got settled in for the cardio exam. He was familiar but he waited for the go-ahead before he started.

Ens. Ovik, Security

While Ovik got comfortable a Nurse in blue smiled, “Hello I’m nurse Belle, I’ll be conducting this part of your exam, if you let me know where you are comfortable and ready.” She said and moved to check the readings on the monitor at the side of the table.

David shook his head “not that I’m aware of Doc”

Ovik nodded to the Nurse as he settled in. “I am ready, Nurse Belle.” He then started moving with the machine, matching the movements and getting his heart going a bit quicker. He watched the readouts on the monitor as things came back mostly normal, as far as Ovik could tell from his position.

The nurse recorded the readouts and turned with a smile. She pulled a small hand held piece from a medical tricorder out and ran it over Ovik as he worked the wall.

Paul began scanning David and looked at the readouts. ”No injuries or complaints?” he asked

The doors to Sickbay slid open and the stocky form of the new Chief Navigator came through, his face smiling as seemed to be his norm.

Looking around the room and seeing the personnel engaged, he simply stepped to the side and waited for an opening.
