Shortly after she had reported for duty, surveyed sickbay, the gymnasium, and the non-commissioned officers quarters on deck 8, she strode to the XO’s office. She was admittedly also eager to check out her private quarters, but that could wait. There were more pressing issues!
She pushed back a strand of her auburn hair behind her ear and straightened up, trying to make herself taller. A vain effort really, but it had become a habit when talking to higher ranking officers.
Then she rang the chime. Should she address him in Andorian? Or would that come across as ingratiating? He had quite a reputation and she couldn’t assume he was as easy going behind the badge as her best mate in the Academy. A shame really, since she knew all the best Andorian jokes still…

Thraz poored over the report for the day, the security teams were starting to come together it had taken him some time to wip them into shape. He was inpress though at how quickly they learned. His antena twitched a few times at the response times which had improved sometime.

When the chime rang he did not notice it the first time, finally he raised his head. “Come” he said.

He stood when he saw her, his fit andorian frame streched as he stood. “Ah Doctro Anu, please come in have a seat.” he said his hand giving a slight motion to the seat infront of his desk.

Dana nodded and came in, her gaze taking in his office and how he had decorated it only shortly, then watched him as he sat back down again. He hadn’t been to sickbay yet, sadly, as she was admittedly curious. His antennae shared a handy sensory skill with her ears… both were able to sense changes in air pressure and perceive sound waves and other waves long before human senses could and that piqued her professional interest. But she wasn’t here for that.

She sat down and her piercingly green eyes met his. “Vaanáh-ran Cha Thraz sh’Kellirathras.” she greeted him, making sure to accentuate the last syllables, just like Kuuhl and her host family on Andoria had taught her.

OOC: It’s supposed to mean “Well met.” Cha is the polite form of address acc. to memory alpha in Andorian, but I didn’t find a better source. Also, no rush in this thread, because Dana is having a conversation about the topic for this “complaint” with the CSO now in the other thread (not planned but very entertaining ;-). Also, fyi, her back story about Andoria is in her profile.
