General information on Denobulans: Require very little to no sleep and have superior stanima until they go into hibernation. Their senses are higher developed than human senses, especially sight (can see well in darkness) and taste (their ears and extraordinarily long tongue can sense alterations in air pressure and composition and perceive aromas, pheromones and nuances in tastes well beyond human sensory levels). Their organism is very resilient and any toxins, bakteria or viral infections take a lot longer to cause harm. Even Borg nanoprobes take longer to take over Denobulan physiology. They are extremely good free climbers. Denobulans are polyamorous and have usually three spouses each. They don’t deal well with social isolation.

Pre-Starfleet Career: Dana left Denobula after working as a doctor for 10 years and joined the “Doctors without borders” interspecies program which placed her on Andoria where she studied first Andorian medicine and then Psychology, while working as a doctor there. She stayed with a host family called Praalas (Parents, three children, one Grandmother).

Psych eval: Current: Dr Anu has been found stable, dependable, dutiful, loyal and well adapted in all her psych evals of the past 5 years. Her character is described as follows:

- able to take command in all predominantly medical or psychological missions / away teams
- she has a tendency to disregard her own well-being in favour of her work, in line with Denobulan work ethics

Important note: Dr Anu needs to be given the possibility to train an aCMO for the Denobulan hibernation period in which she (like all Denobulans) goes into a deep hibernation sleep for about two weeks once a year. The length depends on how long she went without sleep beforehand. Also during mating season she needs to be off duty as she exudes powerful mating pheromones.

Past psych record:
Eval of re-assignment request to Starbase 42: Approved. Reason: Dr Anu is in dire need of a break from the constant strain of having to deal with managing triages, the high death rate resulting from the border conflicts with the Klingons, leading a department without proper training and caring for the recently deceased CMO. She suffers from mild PTSD and is also approved for shore leave.
Eval of re-assignment request to the USS Sentinel: Approved on request. Dr Anu has fully recovered from her past experiences and integrated them into her growth as a professional. She is ready to return to the front line.

Medical eval current: Dr Anu is in great health with an above-average (for a Denobulan) fitness level. Her last hibernation period has just ended.
Dr Anu can be approved to do end-to-end shifts incl. night shifts for one month at a time with a two day break only if requested by her, however the adherence to break times should be monitored.
