Okay guys, here is a sim update for the month of July:

“The Maw of Chronos” — Sim Summary (So Far)
The USS Sentinel has been dispatched to Nebula 685, colloquially known as Sagan’s Veil, in the remote Kaliphane Sector, under direct orders from Admiral Thale at Meridian Station. The orders—transmitted via Starfleet’s Long Range Automated Dispatch System—have been verified twice, though their delivery method has raised quiet suspicions among the crew.

Officially, the mission is a full-spectrum scientific survey of the nebula, which has only been logged twice in Federation history and has never undergone formal exploration. Initial analysis labeled it a Class-K nebula, but follow-up scans suggest it may defy standard classification entirely—its composition and subspace harmonics are highly anomalous.

Strange phenomena have already begun to manifest aboard the Sentinel:

Lt. (jg) Dovek, the ship’s Communications Officer, is suffering from an unrelenting and unnatural hunger that defies medical explanation.

Captain Asam is experiencing a discordant musical tone, felt rather than heard, that has grown into a creeping sense of dread.

Ensign Chandel, the El-Aurian Science Officer, hears a high-pitched shriek—like a violin string being drawn taut—growing more persistent with time.

The ship is now en route at maximum warp, with five days until arrival at the edge of the nebula. Tension builds as the Sentinel crew prepares for their mission, unaware that something ancient and unknown may already be reaching out to them—across the silence of space.
