Zaril walked in the sense of peace and calm surrounded him like a bubble that offered a warm cozy blanket to anyone who was near by. All of sickbay felt a shift, like the day just better as he stepped to the nearest person. He looked around the room a smile on his face. It was certainly nice to be on a starship again. He did not like being on starbase there were so many new people and no please to retreat other than small quarters.

“Lieutenant Dovek, reporting for my medical evaluation.” he said his body language and posture was professional and neutral.

A fairly short nurse in a white uniform turned and smiled, her brown eyes exuding warmth. “Welcome aboard. I’m Leah Hart, Nurse Practitioner. If you have a seat on a biobed, I’ll just pull up your file and I can take care of your physical.”

Leah moved over to a console and pulled up the file. She had naturally read through the psych portion of it once the transfer orders had come through, but wanted to familiarize herself with the rest of the medical history.

He looked down at her, he was a foot taller than her, but her eyes were certainly alluring. He did not linger on it long enough for it to effect him. He gave a short nod and hoped up on the bed. “Please do what you need nurse Heart, but please avoid physical contact where you can, and if you can not please get my attention first” he requested surprise touch made him very uncomfortable and could escalate quickly. “I understand you will be my councilor?”

Hart nodded. “Yes, I am the mental health specialist here, so I handle evals and therapy sessions. We can go over all that after your physical. And thank you for expressing your boundaries regarding touch. I promise to be mindful,” she said with a soft smile. It was refreshing for people to be up front with her rather than wait till an incident to state their needs.

Leah started the scan. “Any illnesses, injuries, or allergies not on your file?”

IC: He issued a controlled smile, “It is not that I don’t like being touched, if I’m not prepared for it, it can be,” he paused. “Complicated for us both, you should wear gloves as well” he said it was always hard to explain that if she touched in unannounced she may become effected by his pheromones. “I do not have any allergies per say, how familiar are you with Deltan physiology?” he asked

She gave him a reassuring smile. “I’m not an expert but I have more than a passing familiarity. Xenophysiology and mental health are my specialities.” As much as she didn’t feel he had to explain his boundaries, she understood why he felt he might need to. Leah looked over the scan results and then back at Zaril. “Everything looks pretty good, though your weight is a little under your baseline. It’s not low enough to be too concerned but any reason you can think of for the change?”

He looked at her and smiled. “I have not been very hungry lately, I don’t know he said looking around” he knew why but he was not about to air out in here, he he lost control the whole room would be crying in seconds.

A lone figure in a white coat appeared from the central office. Reptilian in appearance with large, black eyes, the figure moved to stand next to the Nurse Practitioner. “Greetings. I am Doctor Kreed, the Chief Medical Officer. Welcome to the *Sentinel.” He looked at Hart and then the chart. “Lack of appetite could be indicative of a number of underlying issues. How long have you been feeling this way?”
