Shortly after they met and had a little friendly competition in the phaser room, they both split and got ready in their rooms. Alyssa had then gone to her quarters and got out a nice red sparkling dress on her bed. She then decided to go and take a shower and was smiling at how much of a good time they both had earlier that night. However, Marcus hadn’t realized how cute Alyssa was going to be. Shortly after, Alyssa finally got out of the shower got her dress on, and started to work on her hair and her makeup.

Moments later, the door chime to Alyssa’s room sounded. As the young Security officer crossed the room, she heard a small thunk from the other side of the door, then a quick “Damn,” before the bulkhead went silent again.

She heard the chime and was wondering who it was. She smiled and then said. “Enter!” She said as she was finishing getting ready.

The doors parted to reveal Marcus hastily buttoning his civilian shirt, a cerulean jacket with little white studs running down the front, and straightening himself in order to look the smallest bit presentable. Alyssa quickly became aware that the thunk sound was a small box of… something, ‘Am I early lass?’

She smiles at him. “No of course not. You’re right on time. You’re very handsome with what you are wearing.” She said with a flirtatious comment. “Oh um. May I help you with that?” She asked with a some what smile that wanted to kiss him. But she knows it early.

Marcus flushed, glancing down at the box, ‘Only if you want to prove how bad I am at surprises.’

“Oh come on Marcus. It couldn’t be all that bad.” She said giving him a kiss on the lips.

Marcus embraced the kiss and held Alyssa for a moment to right his posture, ‘I’m more of a whisky man, but wine seemed more appropriate for our first proper date.’

Alyssa looks at him more. “I love wine honestly. I love wine and whisky. So I just thought,” points over at the table. “We could have both.” She was still pointing at the table that shows the bottle of whisky. “Besides, your just so handsome.” She added.

“Dang yeah we do. Anyways how are you Marcus?” She asked him.

“All the better for spending the afternoon with you lass,” Marcus chuckled, “Saying that as if we don’t always see each other on Security duty.”

“That maybe. But Marcus you are my boss on the security field. I only follow your orders on the job of course. Nothing else. Unless if you want us to be something more then just coworkers and friends?” She started to ask. “But believe me, being there together has made feel comfortable since we’re there together.” She said with a smile.
