Hugh had a few items to check off his list now that he was on the ship and Sick bay was the first logical choices on the list. As Hugh arrived, he noticed that he didn’t know who to check in with and his muscular frame stood waiting for someone to ask him what was needed.MacClure, Engineer
As MacClure stook looking around for someone to help him, the doors of sickbay whooshed open again and a tall willowy, young black woman entered in a Science tunic. Her ebony hair was done up on her head in braids that wrapped around like a crown. It made her look more statuesque then she was. The black boots didn’t hurt in that aspect either.
“Hey.” Chandel said as she peered around the empty sickbay. “You look as new here as I do, I am Chandel by the way.” She offered her hand to shake, nails manicured in a French style.Ensign Chandel Sci
At that moment a Saurian male walked out of one of the offices. Large black eyes took in the pair of Ensigns and he walked, stopping a few arms lengths away. “Ensigns. I am Lieutenant Kreed, the Chief Medical Officer. How may I be of assistance?” he asked with a noticable lack of emotion.
Kreed, CMO
“Hello, Doctor Kreed. I am Ensign Chandel and am here for my boarding physical.” Chandel said without her usual large, friendly smile. She knew the Saurons were a reptoid race that instinctively considered a toothy smile a threat. Though she imagined ones like Dr. Creed probably had inured themselves to such instinctive sense of threat from open smiles, having served among humans for some time. But she wished to not appear confrontational. The ‘notes’ of harmony that the Saurian gave off were deep and resonate. Her intuitive sense of him was one of permanence and unlike other humans she in fact felt comfortable in his presence.

Leah was sitting at the side terminals entering in some notes from a security officer she had just treated for a ulnar fracture suffered during some training. She looked up and smiled, glad to see new folks on board. She was on shift for awhile longer before she had some psyc appointments this afternoon.

Hugh looked at Kreed and replied, “Aye Sir, I am here for my medical onboarding also.” Looking over at the Lieutenant sitting at the terminal, he smiled wondering if she was single.
MacClure, Engineer
“Very well. Ensign Chandel, please accompany Nurse Hart to Biobed Four.” The scaly head and black eyes fixed on the Engineer. “And Ensign who did not give a name, follow me.” The CMO turned and didn’t stop to look if he was being followed; he simply started walking.
Kreed, CMO
“I do apologize for not introducing myself earlier Sir,” Hugh replied, “I am Ensign Hugh MacClure and I work in Engineering.” Hugh kept thinking in his mind that he needed to give more information when meeting people and not forget to introduce himself. At that moment, Hugh quickly began to follow Dr. Kreed where he was going.

Leah signed off her terminal and waved Chandel over to the biobed. “Hello, I’m Leah,” she said with light but notable Spanish accent. “I’m a nurse practitioner and I work here in Sickbay as well as serve as a mental health practitioner.” She moved with a fluid grace to her steps and while she was an energetic woman, there was a strong surface layer of focused calm.

Chandel nodded to the CMO as she followed Hart over the biobed and slid up onto it. “A pleasure to meet you, Nurse Leah.” Chandel said with a wide smile.
OOC: Leah would find Chandel a very healthy human woman of 30. No scars, signs of broken bones, surgeries or any signs of any past medical trauma what so ever. Her Starfleet Medical file should no anomalies either. She was a very blessed individual medically speaking. No records of colds or sickness.

Leah grabbed the tricorder and tapped on the nearby readout screen before she began a scan. “Any illnesses, allergies or accidents not on your file?” she asked, though a quick glance at the readout told her what the answer likely was. Still, people could surprise you with things.

“Not at all. I have been very blessed health wise.” Chantel said. “I eat well, exercise and meditate. Seems to do the trick.” She said with an engaging smile.
