A portly currently late 40s aged man who it seems held strong ties in his family tree to old time British royalty or such going back many centuries. He had a wash of red-blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and stood around 5‘9 or so in height. Politically his family had ruled Vok III since it was first settled, and was mostly a government modeled after traditional Monarchial values. Socially the society prided itself to be a strong force among the three joint colonies as being militarily, culturally, and financially the ‘strongest’. However, while on paper this might be argued to be true, in practice it was mostly just talk for the past 40 or so years when compared to the other two colonies together. The current population on the colony was about 980. Its local defense fleet consisted of 20 sublight armed system patrol craft armed with phasers, but no torpedoes. They also had 3 old post-Earth/Romulan war era vintage Intrepid class frigates refitted over the years. They had upgraded early phasers now and limited photon torpedo storage. They had a top warp speed now of warp 6 and an early version of shielding from the 2210s and similar upgraded polarized hull plating. Lastly they had a small fleet of merchant ships numbering about 12 in total, unarmed, but strongly shielded for obvious reasons, but capable when loaded only of warp 5, 5.8 when unloaded. The colony was mainly known as a heavy supplier of industrial and commercial products among the three colonies. =/\= It read

=/\= Ruff II was currently led by Rachel Condor. She was a human woman in her late 30s. She had dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and stood around the 6‘1 mark. Politically the colony was ruled as a democratic republic. Socially it prided itself to be inventive and forward thinking in all matters of concern for itself and the other two neighboring colonies they worked with. Currently the colony had 881 colonists. Their defenses consisted of 14 sublight armed system patrol crafts armed with phasers but no torpedoes. They had 2 late 2190s era Mars class support frigates and 1 post Earth/Romulan war era Mk-III refit Bonaventure class frigate. The Mars class were the support ships that were used for resupply efforts back in the 2190s and did local repairs on site for different purposes. They were armed with late-generation phase cannons and early photon torpedoes as well as later model hull polarization systems, but no shields. They had a top warp speed now of warp 5.7. The Mk-III refit of the Bonaventure frigate was similarly armed, but included an early model shielding system. As well as a refitted warp core allowing it to reach speeds of warp 6.1. The colony also had 6 merchant ships in total, all unarmed, but shielded normally. Capable of warp 5 when loaded and warp 5.8 when unloaded. The colony was mainly known for being the primary supplier of food and simpler commercial products for the three colonies. =/\=

=/\= Quincey II was currently led by Daniel Boston. He was a human in his late 80s currently who was the son of one of the founding members of the original colonies. He stood at a somewhat shorter 5‘2 in height, had a very greying hair, and rich blue eyes. Despite his age he seemed to still be in good health. Politically Quincy II was ruled by a council of 5 advisors with Boston then making the final choice on large matters. Socially the colony was very commercial focused as well as prided itself providing all three colonies with the best education possible. Their defenses consisted of 10 sublight armed system patrol crafts armed with phasers but no torpedoes. They had 1 Mk-III Bonaventure class frigate setup the same as the ones Ruff II had. They then had an assortment of 8 early 2200s era cargo ships. But unlike the other two colonies, these had limited armaments consisting of late-generation phase cannons, hull polarization systems, and early shielding systems. They were capable of warp 5 when loaded and warp 5.6 when unloaded. Currently the colony had about 797 colonists. It was mainly known as the primary resource hub for the three colonies, providing rich minerals of all types for their use. They were also a hub of research and development among the three colonies, as well as being the primary point of contact for outsiders to trade and deal at with the three colonies. =/\=

For the request on pysch profiles and such for the colony leaders the computer had the last records being updated at Starfleet’s last visit to the distant colonies as being from 5 years ago. Back then all three leaders were shown as in good health and mentally stable. Colony wise all colonists appeared healthy more or less and no major issues were reported that wouldnt be expected for a colony that could be concerning.

A question crossed Marcus’ mind after scanning through the computer’s reports, “Remind me again why we always leave it so long to visit colonies like this one? Five years seems a bit far apart, don’t you think?”

Well those dynamics would certainly be interesting. Rand made note to go over ‘courtly’ etiquette with Cpt Rogers and to ask Cmdr Alden to assist. He wouldn’t like using his family name, but he certainly carried the history and noble ties Lord Samuel Stevens III of Vok III would appreciate. Rogers should do just fine with Rachel Condor of Ruff II. Both self-made women. They would probably have a lot to talk about. And if Rogers could get right down to business rather than fake flattery Rand didn’t foresee any major social hurtles with Daniel Boston of Quincey II. They seemed down to Earth as the saying went. And all business. Reports were deceiving though.

The next report Rand complied and pulled up was the intelligence ship profiles on the Orion Lighting Class Blockade Runner/Raiders as well as any action reports on current raids near the colonies they were visiting.

Roman did not react visibly to the information but in his mind, he was not happy about it. Roman had grown up in an environment heavily inspired by old British royalty. His family lines dated back to nobles of Salisbury, England, in Earth’s 12th century, and his family and extended family were part of a regressive social circle who liked to live by old British etiquette standards and that was how he’d been raised. His noble ties would likely be appreciated by the likes of the people on this colony world as much as that disgusted Roman. He wanted nothing to do with those sorts of people, but in this situation, he had no choice. And Rogers had to be taught proper etiquette or it would not take her long to offend them.

“Quite the movers and shakers those ships,” Anders said as he scanned Rand’s report.

Roman, waking up a little now, gave the reports and orders another read and began to formulate a plan. “I can’t say what the Captain will want us to do but here’s what I will say. Anders, have security examine the reports of the Orion attacks and study their strategies and tactics. When Lieutenant Ch’ethyniq gets here, he should be repairing ships, and alongside Anders in security work on colonial and ship defenses. My own department, science, will be supporting Engineering, we’ll see if there’s anything we can help with. Yarwood, I would have medical do physical and psychological evaluations with the colonial leaders, assuming you have staff trained to do psychological evaluations. We’ll update if we get any new information, and if the Captain has any changes or additions for us, do that.”
