Paul was taking another tour of the ship alone this time. taking his time to get to know the ship better. Paul stared on deck two and moved down from level to level and section to section. he did not see any reason to start on deck one since it was mainly the bridge. engines and engineering components. Deck two was rather straight forward and aft torpedo launchers, fire control, and other areas for the torpedo bays. along with escape pods. He moved to the lift to deck 3. He was in no hurry as he took another sweep of deck 3. Which housed the first of the new standard transporter rooms numbered #1 (6-person configuration.) One of the conference rooms along with commanding officers quarters and the xo quarters. Along with more escape pods. As he finished his trek around back to the lift he entered it and moved on to deck 4. This looked like the section for the department heads as he made his way around this level. Several Vip style quarters 1- thru 10. And a machine shop. most of the levels he visited they were quiet and void of crew members. As he made it back to the lift as he moved to deck 5. Some Junior Officer Quarter on this level and several Non-commissioned Officer Quarters here too as he walked along. The first of one of the Upper Primary Cargo Bay entry. Along with the first of the armories and training centers along with the brig and the chief of the security office. As he made his way to the lift again. he saw a bit more action here seeing some security personnel along with other officers doing their work. He Politely waved a hello as entered the lift to deck 6. There are more Junior Officer Quarters here as he noted on a padd. Also more Non-commissioned Officer’s Quarters. Along with lower level access to the primary cargo bay. Also secondary cargo bay here too. As he moved back to the lift to go to deck 7.
Now on deck7 more Junior Officer Quarters. along with more Non-commissioned Officer’s Quarters. Turbo lift service room one. Auxiliary Control room. more escape pods upper lever to deflector control room and dish. Forward phaser battery control room. there was plenty of crew about dealing with their jobs and doing them well. he waved politely before heading to the lift again to deck 8. Even more junior Officer Quarters. along with Non-commissioned Officer’s Quarters. The gymnasium that he visited earlier on.Emergency Transporter Room (10 Pad system). more escape pods. lower deflector control and dish. And Aft Phaser Battery Control Room. Paul was feeling more comfortable with this class ship. its still smaller than some ships he had some cadet cruises on. A rather bustling area people movie to and from the gymnasium it seemed busy today along with others doing their work in neighboring areas of this section. As he moved quietly as he took more notes of interest of the are of further reference. As he entered the lift again to deck 9. he arrived on deck 9 to a busy sight with this level being part of the medical section and labs along with the galley, crew lounges, along with sickbay, and morgue along with the chief of Medical and Chief of sciences offices. along with the general biology labs
Deck 9. He did his best to keep out of the way as he made notes of this level and did his best not to run into anyone in their course of their duties. As he moved to the lift again as he moved to deck 10. As he exited to this level there was another transporter room 2 here along with another turbolift service room here too. Along with a good array of general planetary science labs. Paul was really liking the layout of the ship and its complexity for being user-friendly and logical layout of the vessel. As he added more notes as he moved to the lift to deck 11. He say more crew about but was not as busy as the last several levels. As he started to see the General Astrological Science Labs, As he walked along he got to see doors to the Upper Stellar Cartography Lab along with access to the Upper Warp Core. as he moved to the lift again as he moved down to deck 12. As he walked along the level he came across the doors to access the shuttle bay. shuttle storage areas hangers one and two. Shuttlebay Storage Hanger 1 and 2. along with the Shuttlebay Maintenance Room 1 and 2. Along with Tractor Beem emitter areas. along with the main engineering. The chief engineer’s office. down the way were Lower Stellar Cartography Lab and Access point. more labs for mechanical sciences lab along with Computer sciences lab lower warp core area. Matter/Antimatter Storage Pods area. the main warp core is along with Storage Pod Emergency Blast Hatch. and emergency warp ejection system area for warp core. Paul was pleased with his mini tour of the ship as he did his best not to get in the way of any other crew. He moved back to the lift heading back to deck 5 as he headed back to the security section to introduce himself to the others on the ship.

As Paul rounded the corner to the Security office, he came across Lieutenant Marcus Anders, the Sentinel’s Security Chief, making his way out of the office. He smiled at the sight of the Ensign, “Morning lad, I was just heading out on patrol, care to join me?”

“Why sure sir!” Paul said with a smile. His intro can wait for a while. As he turned to come alongside of the man as they moved down the corridor. “How is your morning going so far sir!” Paul said calmly to the chief of Security.

“Quiet lad,” Marcus said with a chuckle, “I’m almost disappointed, anything to report on your end?”

Paul was a bit confused he was not sure if he should reply or not. “Um…All is Quiet sir!” Paul said finally.

Marcus smiled, “You don’t have to be so nervous lad, I know I’m your superior, but it’s just as important to establish a rapport with your team.”

“I understand sir! I will try and do better.” Paul said calmly to the officer. “What are the things you look for on your patrols?” Paul inquired.
