OOC: This starts the new sim....

It was 2330 hours local time just a half hour before midnight on the Sentinel which was currently docked at deep space K-5. The Captain’s comm chime began its regular and clicking beeping pattern on her work desk nearby.

Shirley groaned because she was unwillingly awoken from her deep slumber. Another wonderful dream that was interrupted by duty, she hoped that whoever was reaching out to her at this hour had some pivotal information to convey. She stretched out her legs and arms casually all in the comfort of her own bed. Shirley slowly rolled over and then rose up to her feet as she walked towards the source of her irritation.

Upon her swift arrival at the work desk, she extinguished the annoying chirping notification sound on her communicator by flipping it open and raising the microphone part to her lips.
