Quinn stretched out her arms as she walked along the corridor towards Sickbay. She’d had an entertaining arrival, but now it was time to do all the un-fun stuff Starfleet made you do. Checking in for medical and all that boring stuff.

In pursuit of that, she stepped into Sickbay and leaned up against a wall.

A Nurse noticed her and walked over. “Excuse me, what do you need?”

“Ah, I’m here for my check-in?” Quinn replied, causing a small nod from the nurse.

“I’ll get someone to do that,” the nurse said, then walked away.

Quinn Dagget, Helm

The nurse returned a moment later with a lithe, PaDD-wielding physician in tow. She carried an ambivalent aura that pervaded even her footsteps. Placid. Precise. Purposeful. But when Quinn caught her eye, she offered not a scowl but a welcoming bow and a gesture to follow.

“You must be Ensign Dagget,” she observed, “I am Doctor Haadok.”

Haadok led Quinn to a nearby biobed where she relinquished the PaDD to the bedside table. “I understand you’re in for a physical,” she continued, “do you have any foremost concerns?”
