The red light caught the Captain’s attention as he walked about the bridge waiting impatiently for further information. “What’s that?” He asked the officer at the engineering station as Elijahd pacing stopped just short of the engineering console. He looked briefly around the rest of the bridge to see if anything else was beeping or flashing

Marc’s first shift on the bridge had been uneventful so far, though he did know that every shift wasn’t going to involve rescues and other forms of derring do. Anders shifted awkwardly in his seat for a few seconds before noticing Captain Carmichael stopping at the engineering station just short of where he was sitting. Putting his nerves aside, he continued monitoring his station. That was when the young Ensign noticed the flashing light; running a quick check on his console and finding nothing, he turned and arched an eyebrow, “Everything alright sir?”

NE Wrenchturn had just reported to the bridge and sat down at the engineering station. Seeing the flashing red light he started pushing buttons and making requests of the computer to determine what was causing the light to flash red.

System reports came back showing there was a small but slowly growing power drain on the impulse and warp reactors.

=O= Engineering this is Bridge station 1. We are showing a power drain on the impulse and warp reactors. Can you confirm and identify?=O=

ME Wrenchturn turned to the head bridge officer (Or Carmichael depending) “Awaiting confirmation Sir, but it appears we have a power drain to the impulse and warp reactors.”

=/\= Engineering here, Bridge. We confirm there’s a power drain, still trying to track it down but looks like its coming from somewhere on deck 11. =/\= The NE replied.

“Sir, with your permission, I can head down to Deck 11 and investigate?”

OOC: So River gave me permission to play an eng NE so no idea who is in charge on the bridge, so I am going to say mutual cooperation.

NE Wrenchturn smiled at En Anders oblivious to the fact he had no authority at all, but extremely relieved to have help. “Oh would you? That would be wonderful if you could. I need to stay and monitor this station.”

Marcus gave a brief confused look at Wrenchturn before cocking an eyebrow at Carmichael as if to say, “I’ll go if you say I can.”
