0430 comes early he thought chuckling as he made his way to his quarters, the sweat on his skin was already going cold and his uniform was sticking to him now more than ever, he was going to look forward to peeling it off and having a shower and shave before getting dresses and back to some actual work.

The next morning Rand was up and dressed in running shorts, a loose t-shirt, and a running shoes. Her red hair pulled back in a high pony tail to keep it out of the way. She had a large glass of water when she woke up, coffee later, and then stepped across the hall and pressed the chime. Either Carmichael would be up and ready to run or he’d be really mad at her for waking him up.
