George was quiet through the explanations, his face neutral. He didn’t agree with the way things were being done, but it wasn’t likely that saying any more would make a difference worth anything. He nodded slightly at the comment about training. He knew how to care for reptiles, but not so much in regards to mammals and other creatures.

“If that’s all, sir, I’d like to get back to my research.” He finished off. He was beginning to feel twitchy about the whole thing and he needed the calming presence of Clark.

Anderson, Sec.

Rand sympathized with Anderson. Alden could be a bear to work with. But at the same time she knew that Alden wasn’t running a zoo or keeping pets. She was sketching the layout of the lab and making notes. If they could separate the animals....maybe a half wall with the lattice work on top, like in quarters. Can still see the whole lab but would ease the environment for the animals? As she had told them there was no extra space for an extra room. She wasn’t sure if they could make an enclosure for Wyvern as big as Anderson suggested but something bigger surely. She’d get engineering in there with Alden’s permission. She finished the rough sketch. Mostly it showed how the current cages could be placed, and a rectangle with a big question mark and ‘wyvern’ written there and more questions about dimensions and the half way separating the two sides of the room. She wrote ‘based on current suggestions. Would this meet your needs?’ and also a note for herself and Randy to check with engineering on implementation and that previous suggestions for cages and care could be adjusted as the lab was adjusted. She didn’t want to irritate Alden any more than she already had. She set the PaDD down on his workstation for later and looked at the reports. “Would you like me to finish these, Sir?”
Yeoman Rand

Roman was willing to work with Anderson to make things as comfortable as possible. And he trusted Rand to iron out the details, and get Engineering to do the work. As long as she let him know when they’d be there. Roman was not at all irritated with Rand, more so with Anderson, and in his usual less than pleasant mood. “If you’d like, it would be helpful,” he said to her, sitting back down with his paperwork. “And you’re still free to play with Nibbles if you like,” he said. He was still sure the mouse was safe for her, and he’d gotten to know her well enough he thought it might help to mention it specifically to her.
