After her evaluations were finished Moriah asked if the CO was currently occupied after getting permission to go to meet with them she made her way to their location. She privately made a mental bet on if they’d make a light comment about her petite stature and how it could be either amusing or annoying. She wouldn’t be disrespectful not while on duty, but first time she was allowed to speak freely she’d get back in kind.

The computer replied that Colter was in the war room, just off the bridge. He was available and was, in fact, waiting to meet with his new engineering chief. . . . .

Moriah rang the chime of the war room’s doorway and waited for permission to enter. After hearing the approval, she entered and smiled up at the Captain. “Moriah O’Hara reporting for duty,” she said lightly as she offered her transfer orders.

“Welcome aboard the Saracen, Lt. O’Hara. Please, have a seat. Can I get you something to drink while we get acquainted?”
