Seething, Flynn left the Counselors Office, his posture losing it’s confident stance as soon as the doors were closed behind him. Just who did that woman think she was to dismiss him like that? He’d have to play it smarter when he returned, he promised himself, there was no way that woman was going to get the better of him like that. He loved the Saracen and being in space, he loved the excitement that came with every new encounter that he just didn’t get when he was working in the colonies. He wasn’t going to let any two-bit Counselor stop that, one way or another he was going to convince her that he was just like everyone else, preferably without having to give too much away.As he turned down another corridor heading towards sickbay it was only then that he realised that his fists were curled into balls so tight that his nails were leaving crescent moons in his palm. Breath. He sucked in a breath. Counting the seconds, one, two, three, four, five, and released it in one of the many calming techniques he had learnt from Sinclair. It wasn’t his favourite, but it would be enough to get him through until he could hit the gym and unleash onto a punching bag. After a few short exercises he unfurled his fists until his arms swung purposefully by his side.
Careful he thought to himself, as he flashed a young women one of his smiles as she passed him. He was pleased to note she flashed him back a flirty one and knew his anger wasn’t showing on the surface You’ve got 2 more check ins to complete, don’t let Sheliah ruin this for you he reminded himself, Stay in control.
With that he sucked in one more controlled breath, flashed a charming smile and entered Sickbay, his eyes scanning the room for someone he could flag down.

OOC: Sorry about the delay. It was a really bad month for me but hopefully, I am back on track. ~ KateIC: Natasha was leaning against the nurse’s desk signing a stack of PaDD’s that had accumulated like Mt. Kilimanjaro back on Earth. She looked less than thrilled at her task as indicated by the signature that was looking less like a name and more like a squiggly line the longer she signed. Her body language showed she was either getting ready to leave or was desperate for a distraction.

OOC: Apologies for the delay, seems real life decided it was my turn for bump tag.
IC: Fraiser took one look at Sickbay and decided that since it appeared none of the other passengers of the Shuttle craft had made it out of their rooms yet, there was no sense in him going through the formalities of waiting around. He’d already wasted enough of his time with that woman, and he’d have to go back to waste more of his time. Feeling his anger spike, he took a calming breath and made himself glance about the room again. His eyes immediately focused on Nat.
A jolt of recognition shot through him spying Natasha for the second time, as he realised why she had looked so familiar, to him. The few other staff members he had recognised were ones that he had had issues with at some point in the past; a Bajoran that had come on too strong and he’d rebuked a little too strongly and another male whose girlfriend had left him to chase after Flynn. The rest he didn’t recognise.
Deciding Natasha was almost certainly his safest option, and the fact she looked through, at least in the psychological sense, with the stack of PADDs before her. Something different to do might be well received. Flynn approached, and gently cleared his throat. “Excuse me Lieutenant Commander, would you be able to spare a minute to give me a physical” he flashed one of his trademark charming smiles, unsure if she would recognise him or not, it had been a few years and he had a better memory than most.
Lt. (j.g.) Flynn, Sec
“Sure,” Natasha said not looking up immediately. “What can I do for…oh my god Flynn,” she stated in a very upbeat tone and dropping her stylus. “When did you get back?” It was clear that Nat recognized the officer and was happy to see him. “Wait don’t tell me,” she held up her hands playfully, “about five minutes after you stepped off the Saracen and realized how much you missed us.” Nat let the space between them fill indicating she was hoping Flynn had a fun quip to match hers.

“It was probably the minute my stomach rumbled and I realised I couldn’t cheat my diet and steal one of Ensign Bradwick’s famous tarts that she likes to make.” Flynn winked playfully, “And of course I missed having an attractive doctor tending to me and organizing my diets for my training regime.”
“Speaking of, Rico suggested speaking to you about a diet for the up coming Inter-Department lifting championship,”

A loud clanging from the back of sickbay pulled her attention. “Ummm Scott,” Natasha held out the PaDD in in her hand. “Flynn give me a few. Dr. Scott will take care of you.”
“That didn’t sound good,” Flynn said to Natasha’s quickly retreating back, before his eyes swiveled to where she has passed the PaDD to and took in the new Doctor for the first time.
Taking the outstretched PaDD, a blonde in a high pony tail began to read over his chart. “So Lt. Flynn are you checking in and are a repeat passenger on the Saracen. I can check you in and talk about anything you want. Bed two,” Allie stated gesturing across the room. “I just got here a few weeks ago. I transferred from the USS Ogawa. This place is very different from my last duty station. Where did you transfer from?” Allison knew she was probably peppering Flynn with far too many questions but he was in security. A small smile formed at the corners of her lips as she wondered if the Lt. would see it as a mild curiosity or an interrogation.

OOC: I had to switch out my characters. I hope the transition was okay. ~ Kate
OOC: As smooth as a Risan pick-up-line.
IC: Flynn’s smile froze on his face as he game Scott the once over for the first time. For a moment, a brief moment, he didn’t exude his normal his charm and charisma. It almost looked as if he had seen a ghost. Then he blinked and gave Dr Scott his charming smile as he regained his senses. In the Medical uniform, with the blonde hair and green eyes, Allison Scott looked like a ringer for Elaine. Of course on second glance there were obvious differences between the two, Elaine was taller, her hair was slightly darker, and she had always preferred to wear it in a bun as opposed to a pony tail, but aside from that the two could easily have passed off as each other’s sister.
“I was on Turkana XII as part of a security detail to some terra-formers. The role sounded more exciting than it was. I was more of an over glorified Security guard than anything else, so I went back home for a little bit and asked if by any chance there was still a spot for me on here,” he replied, sharing more information than he intended, but he didn’t read her intentions as anything more than curiosity and in any case the job had been mundane, there was no big security secrets there he could share, even if he was caught off guard.

“Farms can be fun,” she leaned against the opposite of the bed. “I went to Indiana once. I learned far more than should have from those Indiana boys on an Indiana night.” She was from San Diego and had zero experience with corn, field parties, or weed before that trip. After the trip, she had had plenty of stories to tell. “I was visiting my Aunt and cousins. They taught me to shoot an antique shotgun and taught me to make popcorn off the stalk of some corn plants. Never judge a book by its cover Lt. Flynn. If you do then you will never find out the whole story.”
Lt. Flynn was easy on the eyes and even easier to talk to. He seemed laid back and comfortable with his rank and personality. This was not always the case with officers. “So what did you guard on an out of the way farm world. Don’t tell me,” she said in an excited tone as if she was on a game show. “Uncle Evanrood’s prize potate plants.”
