Satreya smirked as the tricorder in her hand flipped open on its own accord. Scanning bud in hand, she began a thorough scan of their new counsellor, watching the read outs carefully. “What do you think of the Saracen so far?” she asked.

OOC: Scan results, please?

Lt. Boja, CMO

OOC: A few mended broken bones, nose broken on several occasions, nothing major, no illnesses.

IC: “She’s a beauty. Much different than my last post. And not working along side Cadets is kind of refreshing, actually.” he said.

Sinclair, CNS

She grinned. “I can imagine it would be a definite change of pace,” Boja replied. “Haven’t had that specific pleasure myself, but I can imagine it to be rewarding in its own way.”

Looking over at the biobed and cross-referencing her scans, the adept telepath gave a nod. “Well, your scans look good and I’m not seeing anything obvious. Anything else you might have concerns about while you’re here?”

“Nothing physical, no. But I would like your professional opinion on something. Can you tell me how the crew has been, mental health-wise, since you have been on board Doctor? Any issues that I may need to look at as a priority? I know the ship has been without a Counselor for a bit, so I’d like to start prioritizing any needs and get to those as soon as possible.” Sinclair inquired. His briefing from Star Fleet Command had been just that… brief. It consisted of “The Saracen needs a Counselor. Go. Now.”, so Sinclair was operating a bit in the dark.

Sinclair, CNS

“Well, I haven’t noticed any red flags or anything and any time my staff noted anything that might require mental health attention, it’l be flagged in their files. I would simply suggest having the computer run a search for the flags since you have the clearance to do so.” She technically did too, but it was beyond her purview most of the time. At least focusing on the question about the rest of the crew allowed her to hide her slight unease at his hunt for patients. She never usually avoided counsellors, but the last while had been confusing at best and she wasn’t even sure how to talk about it all. And Teller had proven to be a great listening, among other things, so she always felt she was covered. And as an adept telepath she was able to note interest and deflect it easily. Most of the time.

OOC: I’m going to assume this is around the time Kavia shows up in the side sim I’m running, but up to you whether it’s before or after.
