She had seen Hannah book the holodeck for personal time and made what she hoped was a correct assumption about the intention. Otherwise, this would be rather embarrassing. And while Cori couldn’t really say for sure if she was looking forward to this, she was curious to get to know this other woman better.

Hannah had booked the holodeck and sent the reservation to Cori, or at least she thought she had. She wasn’t sure how that worked for Cori, if it went into the computer or showed up on the screen in her quarters, but she hoped that she sent it correctly.

Appearing in the blank holodeck, the grid was oddly soothing. It spoke of possibilities, of whatever you imagine being at the tip of one’s fingertips. As much as this space was also confining to her in a way, it still held sway over her memories and idea of what could be.

Black legging and a teal long sleeved tunic, cut asymmetrically over her hips, Cori awaited Asimina’s arrival.

Hannah arrived wearing leggings, but more heavy duty than dancer’s leggings. She’d researched practice clothes for dancing and she’d put on the closest thing she had. These were more heavy duty for climbing than soft for dancing, but she hoped they worked, and then a fitted long t-shirt. Which was too long for climbing but she thought it might be appropriate for what Cori would need her to wear for dancing. Hannah was excited. It had been awhile since she’d met anyone who actually wanted to talk to her like a normal person and even share interests. Hannah had had friends on the Fearless, but it had taken a long time to get to that point. She was hopeful of making friends here on the Saracen. “Hi Cori! How are you today?” Hannah walked over and looked around, she hadn’t set a program because she didn’t know what Cori would want to do. “It looks so plain like this, but it’s kind of like a cliff you’ve never climbed. It can be anything, easy or terrifying. It’s awesome!”
