Royal was concerned about this review. He knew the XO had been through some events recently, and the Captain had said to ensure she was up to the task. So the Saracen had acquired itself a CNS. It was certainly better than the prospect of a full recall. Her sister had her nails in that particular signature absence, no doubt. Vienne snorted in dry amusement, startling a nearby 257 dock worker. She didn’t stay to watch the last of the previous XO’s belongings shipped off to… wherever those things go. She turned around, headed right back for the ship.

Now would suffice.

Vienne pressed the door chime as the computer’s guiding light dimmed off.
