The second chef was gestured by the first to get back to work and tend the preparations. “..I see Commander, well this is the ship’s galley as you know. I would be Lead Chef Ovikruvek. It is an honor to serve aboard your warbird..” He stated the title/rank sounded loftier then it really was. For a Reman though with the limited ways to advance in ‘rank’ for their status. Lead Chef was no small feat all things considered. Such a a ‘rank’ was usually only earned and found them position on the larger D’deridex warbirds given ones skill at that status. It was also one of the few positions that gave a Reman underlings that could include junior ranked Romulans some authority for those that had done wrong or found themselves being punished. The rank also when earned usually found the Reman in question able to request a posting elsewhere if they did not wish to serve on the more prestigious D’derdix warbirds. It was not always approved, Rh’vaurek would know, but usually was unless there was a reason not to.

“I’m glad to know I have a competent chef on board. Some of the previous Warbird I served on had…rotating chefs.” Rh’vaurek’s meaning was obvious what would have happened to them, though he did not directly come out and say it.

Ovikruvek submissively and with respect bowed his head to Deletham, “..Thank you Commander, your praise means a lot. My request to provide meals on your warbird was due to the fact I felt my talents and abilities to lead the other cooks and servants would be better suited here, rather then on the larger D’deridex assignments. I will strive to provide you and your crew only the best we are able to make..” he stated.
