Grainine stood at the bar of the tavern and watched the door as the woman next to her prattled on. It had been two weeks since she had met Shawn Grecken and thirteen days since she realized she wanted to know the handsome doctor better. Shauwn, however, seemed not in the mood to get back in the dating game. No girl wanted to be the rebound chick so Grainine was stacking the deck. She had contacted the local social director and told her about the handsome single Starfleet doctor. Bella Bucksley immediately took over. Within two hours she had found three candidates which Grainine knew would fail miserably and allow her to slide in as not the rebound chick.

Grainine Kelly cleaned a glass and watched Alice Porter sitting at the designated table. The dark haired woman was sitting very prim and proper waiting for her prospective date to arrive. A part of Grainine felt a bit bad helping fill out Bella fill out the info sheet on Shawn but not really. Allsnfaor in love and war

Shaun entered as he found the woman Grainine had described to him sitting at a table near her area. She was trying to wing him he knew but he still wasn’t certain about any of this. Still despite than uneasy feeling he was willing to give this a chance as he walked over as he took a deep breath and sat across from the woman. “You must Alice, Shaun.” he said as he smiled before sitting down across from her.
