OOC: I have transferred this partial thread over here because it is not part of the main sim. We will play it as a side sim that takes place at an alternate time, not in the middle of our GM run sim. Isaac, you will need to post here too to give us clues as we try to treat the paralysis.

Sovan moved quickly to the side area of sickbay where he had prepared several compact medical kits so that they could react quickly to any crisis during this mission. “Doctor, I have several emergency medical kits prepared. Did you wish to go or would you like me too?”

Dedicing she would scan herself while Sovan took care of the crewman, Mykl walked over to a biobed. “Why don’t you catch this one? Very strange symptoms, you might need to take a hover cart with you to bring him back here.” She busied herself dialing in a diagnostic on the bed she intended to use when they were notified of more that had succumbed to the odd stiffness.

OOC: This stiffness isn’t coming from the GM, so my question is, Isaac, do you have a plot line for this illness? A way to cure it?

Before laying down, Najjar looked at Sovan. “That’s very odd. I can’t think of anything that would suddenly affect nine people in a matter of minutes making them display a stiff paralysis.” There were diseases, of course, injuries too, but that many people wouldn’t have succumbed at the same time when those things weren’t involved.

Aye, Doctor.” Sovan said as he grabbed an antigrav stretcher, setting his med kit on it as he maneuvered it out the door toward Deck 14. As he reached Deck 14 and headed to the spot they had been told the affected crew member was, he ran through medical conditions in his head and could not come up with one that could have effected the crew of a starship. The radiation and gravimetric waves would not have done this.
