Pawl woke up calmly to another nice morning. Sometimes he missed waking up to a sunny day shining into his windows when he lived at home on betazed. He uncovered himself and stood and headed for the sonic shower to wake up and get cleaned up for the day and morning shift. After he finished his shower and shaved, he got into his clean, pressed uniform for the day. Pawl was humming to himself as he checked the computer for any odd correspondence from family, and friends, or any odd directive from Starfleet. Luckily, there was nothing at this time as he moved towards the exit of his quarters for the day, and he moved to get a quick bite to eat at the mess hall. Before heading to engineering to check on the status of the systems for the day, and he sees if anything needs his or other engineering attention. So far, all was caught up, so the others did some odd side chores and kept on alert for any surprises. Pawl moved to the bridge and took his seat at the engineering console calmly and quietly, waiting for others to come up to start their shifts.
