While after all the hard time of readjusting back on board and finally back at her duty station at the helm, she went to the mess hall and grabbed a bite to eat. Lovejoy is still feeling a little uneasy about being back but she is adjusting very slowly. She then grabbed her tray of food and a cup of coffee and juice and sat down. She found a spot for herself as she didn’t know what to do. She sat there ate and drank her food and drink as she was back to normal.

Pawl was just finishing his shift. As he logged off his computer terminal in engineering. As he headed to the mess hall for somethng to eat.He moved over and ordered his food from the food sythizer. as he entered the car it beeped and hummed to life, to process his request he had entered as he turned to see who was there he saw sara. the machine beeped it was down as the door opened he grabbed hs silverware and napkins. placed them on the tray with his food and moved towards saras position. “Pardon me lieutenant may i join you?” he said with a small smile towards her hoping he was not intrudiing on her.

She looked up and saw him. “Yes sir. Please have a seat.” She said with a smile.

“How is everything going since your return?” Pawl asked calmly, as he placed his tray down and he took a seat across from her. “It’s nice to see you back, Lieutenant.” Pawl said softly.

“It’s been a little difficult but I’m managing.” She replied back calmly. “Listen. I wanted to apologize of my actions a few months ago. It wasn’t like me and it was completely inappropriate of me and I apologize.” She added.

“Its ok, there is no need for an apology. I am glad you are back with us all.” Pawl said with a small smile as he took a sip of his drink after speaking. “Welcome home.”

“Thanks. Also congrats on your promotion. You deserved it after everything I’ve been through you deserve it more then me.” She said sitting there not eating.

Noticing she was not eating. “You need to eat, my dear. We’re all good here, there are no hard feelings or anything between us or anyone else for that matter.” Pawl said softly to her. ” I appreciate your work and diligence to all here and at Starfleet. ” He said with a smile.

She had the noticed that he asked her to eat. She had then grabbed her eating utensil and started to eat. “So since ive been gone what new around here?” She asked Pawl.

“Other than some officers changing positions and other than some odd duties that had needed to be done, nothing really has changed much here.” Pawl said calmly.

She looked at him nicely. “Fair fair. It makes sense.” She said.

Pawl ate more of his meal and drink. Before he spoke again. “There is one new item I an Kasarak are no longer a couple.” Pawl said softly to her. “How long has it been for you since you were on Betazed?” Pawl inquired.

“Since I’ve went to the academy. Why?” She asked.

“Nothing really, just curious is all. It’s been a good while for me, too. ” Pawl said with a small smile on his face. “I am debating on going for a visit sometime in the future.” Pawl said as he finished off his meal and drink. “I hope your meal was satisfactory?” Pawl wondered. He noticed the room was starting to empty a bit. He was wondering how late it was getting to be. “You’re more than welcome to reach out to me if you need to talk or just vent a bit, as the humans might say, or put it.” Pawl said with a small snicker.

She looked up at him. “Thanks. It’s just I”m also kind of figuring out my emotions all at the same time. I’ve just gotta remember what the captain said about allowing my telepathic abilities and my emotions for those I work with.”
