Chris was still bleeding in some areas and he applied pressure to the more severe ones. It was painful but tolerable. He waited with the other humans in the cells.

John saw the injuries on the captain and said “sir I have a small med kit if you want I can treat your injuries” he offered to his captain. John expected to be in this type of situation on a Romulan ship in Klingon territory. As crazy as it sounds, it’s just another day and Starfleet.

“Uh. No thank you Ensign. I have to be injured for this to work.” Chris scratched his head and looked at the Ensign with confusion. “Not to be rude Ensign but who are you? I’ve never seen you before.”
