Kastarak had called the captain, Symar, Dawson and Valharra to the conference room close to the Bridge. Today’s meeting was a planning meeting to discuss tactical issues relating to being in Klingon space, as well as preparing for the possibility of taking on injured Klingons to Sickbay, as well as how to deal with potential hand-on-hand combat with Klingons.

Kastarak waited for the invitees to enter the room. He particularly looked forward to understanding more about this elusive species.

Dawson felt better than he had in weeks. Finally, something he was sure on. He felt that he was finally standing on solid ground after months at sea. When Kastarak had called the meeting and given its intention, Dawson immediately got to work, collecting what he could of Klingon tactics and culture, which was regrettably sparse. But it was enough. He had first-hand accounts of Klingon battles that detailed how they fought and their attitudes in combat, as well as some first-hand mele accounts of fights with Bat’leths, including a treatise on bat’leth fighting synthesized by an Earth martial artist and historian. Yes, Dawson felt very secure in this meeting.

He arrived at the conference room, PaDD in hand, and chimed the door.
