After arriving on the Chernov and completing his examinations, Q made his way to see Captain Taggert. It was the first time he was a department head and reporting to the Captain instead of a CO. Dawson had to admit the thought made him a little nervous. But, this had been what he had wanted. He had left his old life behind him and moving forward. Q stood up straight, hands behind his back, and a stoic expression on his face. Only one chance for a first impression and all that. HE rang the door chime to the Captain’s ready room and waited for the response.
