He barely heard a rumor that Sarah was aboard the ship but did not recall seeing her in the initial boarding she must have come on at the last moment. He left his cabin and moved to the mess hall area to get something to eat. The room was empty as he moved to the food preparation units. To order his meal. He grabbed a card from the selection. station and placed the card into the food synthesizer. As it hummed to life to as it started to make the meal he requested. While he waited he gathered his silver wear and napkin. As the unit finished as he turned around as the door opened to reveal his meal. He grabbed his tray and moved to a table near a window to eat as he took his seat. Then looked outside the window briefly. As he started to eat.

Kastarak entered the mess hall. He synthesized some bland soup that looked more like a porridge when he came to think about it. He put it on a tray and moved to the only other soul in the hall.

“Hello, Mr Batario,” he said as he approached Pawl. “May I join you?”
