Kree was up out of the command chair in half a second, spinning around to identify the owner of the voice. She hadn’t really believed the file she’d read on the dentist, thinking it had been a joke, but there he was, standing behind her chair. “Dr Black? Why are you on the bridge?”

Tressex completed the weather forecast for the next three week cycle and forwarded it to the XO. “Ma’am. Weather forecast for the next three weeks.”

The figure of the dentist tilted its skull again as if confused. “I APPOLOGISE FOR THE INTRUSION BUT I THOUGHT IT BEST TO TRY AND EXPLAIN IN PERSON…AS I SAID COMMANDER I FEEL DESPAIR.” His last word carried a tone that clearly said he expected her to understand the significance of this somehow.

Looking at the hooded figure, Talyn cringed inwardly. “Next time, call me down to your office. There’s no need for you to make the trip here.” Besides, the bridge crew doesn’t need you showing up unexpectedly. “You feel despair? Please explain.”

Tressex looked at the hooded figure and unconsciously sniffed the air. He had never before encountered such a being, and it’s presence made him uneasy.

The dentist tilted his cowled head again and seemed confused. ** “I DO NOT…KNOW.”** he trailed off and shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot. A clicking sound emanated from under his robes as if he were wearing heels.

Creepy. It was the only word that kept repeating in her mind. Dr Black was just creepy. Talyn had no idea if a skeleton in a hooded robe meant anything to other species, but Dr Black was the epitome for the sign of ‘Death’ on Earth and it was unnerving to have him only a few feet away. “I’m afraid that ‘I do not know’ doesn’t help us any.” She looked over at science. “Run a scan of the ship for anything unusual and let’s see if we can get more of an idea of what Dr Black is talking about.”

Joe for his part seemed to be upset by this comment, he dropped his shoulders and hung his skull. I AM. SORRY. he said sadly. He waited to see what science would come up with.

Najma was busy staring at herself in the console screen, also she thought Tressex was doing the scan. Everyone seemed to be preoccupied by Dr. Black’s appearance but it didn’t bother her, she was just glad she didn’t look like him. “Yes please what are the results of the scan!” She said as she meanly eyed her science officer. “It don’t make any sense,” she mumbled to herself, “I have to do everything around here.”
Najma ran the scan and then studied it for a moment. She looked at the XO and said, “The scan picked up something…but I don’t really know what. It’s not specific or definitive. It may also have something to do with the various mysterious relays that has been occurring, Commander.”

Then she said to herself as she snickered, “Or maybe it’s Dr Blacks presence.”

OOC: No one has actually done a scan and ‘scan’ is too vague. What sort of scan and what are you looking for? Also, other departments have information, so when people start communicating with each other a bit more I promise everything will come together. ~Linds

OOC: Okay, I understand the scan thing, but Jules’ character is upset that the XO hasn’t raised an intruder alert yet, but I don’t think Kree knows about what’s going on with the relays and the creature they found. Nothing has been cross posted to the bridge thread, has it? All she knows is Dr Black has a ‘feeling’.
