“Of course,” Brad said, consulting his own PaDD for the most up-to-date roster. “The senior staff in the department are myself as Chief of Staff, Lt. Commander Pilar O’Keefe as our Head Nurse, yourself as Assistant Chief, Lt. Dr. Drake Marshall as Chief of Surgery and Lt. Darren as Chief of Psychiatry. Under them, we have Ens. Dr. James McNight, Ens. Dr. Roberta Parr, Interns Issac Jacobs and Jessica Summers, plus Surgical Nurse Ens. Lena Khev and probationary Crewman Dr. Jasper Jarvis… plus Crewman Dr. Joe Black who pulls double duty as our Dentist and Eldritch Abomination.”

Willow stood and allowing Brad time to do just that moved to the replicator. “Can I get anyone a drink? I always feel staff meetings could use some refreshments”

“A glass of black tea for me, thanks,” Brad said.

“No, thank you,” Ana replied politely, straightening even more in her chair as Walker mentioned her name. She gave a slight nod again to Bandoo.

Poosh’s eyes narrowed and he leaned forward a bit, turning his head slightly to better hear Dr. Walker. “Did you say…Eldritch Abomination?” he understood the words, but he couldn’t have heard them right. With his head turned he was making direct eye contact with Darren. He tried to make an expression that said “Any help?” But who knows what she’d take away from it. Ool expressions were significantly different, but he tried to approximate.

“He’s not quite out of Lovecraft, but pretty much everything about him is hard to explain,” Brad elaborated. “Just, if you see a 7 foot tall walking skeleton with volume control issues, that’s him.”

Willow returned and put the tea down in front of Brad, she had an ice tea of her own. “He sort of....came with the ship you might say, he was here when we got here and no other vessel had a dental vacancy so. ” she elaborated and sipped her drink. “Just, don’t forget to floss. Ever.” She added.

Ana remained quiet in the conversation, but felt a shiver go down her spine at the mention of the dentist that had terrified her in her office shortly after she had joined the ship. She studied Poosh curiously, not familiar with his species in Starfleet before. From a scientific standpoint, it was fascinating.
