Poosh shook hands all around. His hand was cool to the touch but not cold. The internal power source and the movement of the mechanisms kept it sitting at around room temperature. He took his seat, his short stature bringing the tabletop to armpit height. Putting his arms on the table would have been a bit uncomfortable so he folded his hands across his belly. “It was bittersweet. I hated to leave my friends behind, but this was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.” He smiled serenely which, because of his fist sized brass colored eyes, made him look pointedly wall-eyed.

Willow grinned. “Well we are delighted to have you join us. I’d like for Doctor Walker....” she looked at Brad. “…to give you a rundown of the medical staff. At the moment however if you have any questions or requests this is the time.”

Ana sat nearby, her posture stiff as she quietly observed the interaction of the various senior staff members. She wasn’t completely sure why she was in attendance at this meeting, but she had felt very unsure in general since adopting her new post at the completion of their previous mission. She sighed internally and shifted minutely in her seat. These administrative details were going to become much more likely in her life, she surmised.
