=/\=Pierce to bridge. We could restore impulse power by cutting nonessential systems. I’m going to trace the navigational system fault so we can get moving.=/\=
-Lt(j.g.) Mark Pierce, CE
=/\=Chief Pierce, how long will it take you to trace the problem. Can you divert some of that power you are shutting down to helm control and sensors? =/\=
=/\=It’s a diagnostic on the navigational system, hopefully it won’t take too long. Now, if you’re willing to settle for 3/4 impulse power, I can try to liven up the sensors, helm was never going offline. I believe the plan is to restore control to the bridge nav console. But we’re not getting the warp core back until we get out of here. We can’t generate a warp bubble. I’ll keep working on it, but safe assumption is that we’re impulse only and on low power for a while.=/\=

“Captain, subspace pockets like this have been reported but are highly unpredictable. We could intersect an alternate reality, or multiple realities. We could experience time loops, go back or move forward. The point is, we have no way of knowing what we could be dealing with. The longer we are here, the more likely we are to experience these things. Frankly, I dont want to run into alternate reality me.” She tried to smile and maintain a level of calmness, though inside she was squirming.
Lt. Cmdr. Brooks, XO
Tressex nodded in agreement and said “I concur, Captain. We need ot get out of here as quickly as possible. But to do that, we need to get somewhere any subspace distortions, fluctuations, and such are as minimal as possible. We need to move towards the center of the field as soon as we can.” and Tressex began scanning specifically for any other ships or planets in the area.
Tressex, CSO
Ooc: Guys helm was unresponsive as per GM comment.
IC: Willow looked between the CSO and XO. “Agreed.” She looked at the NE at helm, “Are we back in control Ensign?”
Once they had organised helm control Willow nodded. “Take us into the centre of the field. Let’s see what we can do about getting out of this.”
A quick check of the casualties list, a fatality… Willow hit her badge. =^= Taylor to Walker. Report Doctor.=^=
=/\=I can confirm one fatality in the lounge, Captain,=/\= Brad reported. =/\=Fortunately, or unfortunately I suppose, it doesn’t appear to have been directly caused by our misadventure. We’re looking at some sort of homicide down here. Security is investigating as well. The victim is Engineering Ensign Branson Hart.=/\=

COLt. Cmdr. Dr. Brad Walker
Chief of StaffWillow frowned and looked at her XO. The words incident and homicide are never good at the best of times anywhere. Together they are even worse and together on a starship…
“A homicide? And it just happened at the same time we entered this anomaly?” She met the captain’s eyes and conveyed with speaking that this was more than a coincidence.
“Commander. Please assist in the lounge.” She said and turned hearing a voice.
“Aye, Captain,” she said, thankful to have something to take her mind off Sadee.
“Um, excuse me sirs. Engineering. We’re attempting to restore navigational control, I need to get at some relays though. I’ll try to stay out of the way.” With that the NE set to work with her partner working parallel decks below.

“Thank you ensign as quickly as possible.” She said.

COCommander Brooks turned and left the bridge.

Tressex continued his scans; searching for any planets, vessels, or other such objects within the sub space pocket. He also began modeling the borders of the area looking for any possible avenue of escape.
Tressex, CSO
The bubble seemed entirely separate from whatever space was on the outside of the borders. There were not planets or bodies that people found in regular space and the chaotic nature of the space made it unlikely that they would form here. There were also no signs of anything artificial, other than the Ogawa itself. Escape was not possible unless they could duplicate the way they entered, if they could even figure out how exactly that had happened.
~Mischief Maker
Tressex scowled at the data, but began pulling all the records of the passive scans that were continuously running as the ship traveled for the 6 hours prior to their dropping into the bubble.
