Najma stumbled to her quarters with way too may bags in her arms. She panted as she stopped outside of the door to her assigned room then she let all the bags fall to the floor. They made loud thudding sounds as they did. Irritated, she ran one hand over her forehead as she exclaimed loudly “I cannot believe I had to carry my own bags to my quarters.”
She placed one hand on her hip then waved her hand in front of the sensor on the door. When it did not open she sighed and smacked it with her open palm, then it opened. She walked in the room, leaving all the bags outside. She considered the room and its set up. It was nice, a one room efficiency condo type suite, a large window with a never-ending view of space. “Well….at least my living area is decent.” She said as she looked at the pile of bags at the door. Najma rolled her eyes, walked over, and sat on the neatly made bed. She stretched her arms above her head then yawned. Her arms hurt and she was tired from carrying all those bags, however there was no time to rest. “First order of business, to knock out all the formalities. I guess I need to grace the chief medical officer, counselor and the commander with my presence. Lucky them.” She said as she let out an errant laugh.Lieut. (j.g) Moreino – CSO
Najma strolled to the counselor’s office. As she walked there she felt a sense of grandiosity which was a normal state of mind for her. Despite being super capable in her line of work, Najma lack a core sense of herself, and she often needed constant validation to stabilize her self-esteem. It was her one flaw, her weakness and it contributed to her narcissism. Psychiatric evaluations were her least favorite because counselors often picked up on her issues and while they were not extreme enough to declare her unfit for duty, most of the counselors she had seen in the past, often required her to visit with them regularly, to keep a close eye on her. As she reached Lieutenant Najjar’s office, she walked in without saying a word and just stood there.

OOC: I was waiting for Reez to take this since he is the head of the department, but I’ll pick it up. Also, you wouldn’t be able to just walk in to her office. Considering one never knows when she is in a ‘session’, there would have to be permission granted to enter.
IC:
While Mykl was walking back to her desk with a fresh cup of coffee, the door to her office opened of its own accord and a woman walked in. The surprise to the counselor only lasted half a second before she continued to her desk to set the cup down. She made a mental note to have engineering look at the controls of her door–privacy needed to be ensured in her line of work.Luckily, Najjar was alone. Standing behind her desk, she addressed the visitor. “May I help you?”
—Najjar, CNS, DRO
OOC: That’s the point. My character does not care if you have a session or not. It’s her personality to just barge in. She has an entitled attitude. You are welcome to call her on it if you want :) We are roleplaying here.
Mika
“No you may not. However I am here for my psychiatric evaluation. Hopefully it will not take long. I am Lieutenant Moreino, the new CSO and I have quite a lot to do.” She said as she crossed her arms.

“Perhaps you should have made an appointment then. I am already booked for my next session which starts in ten minutes.” Mykl was being matter-of-fact with the CSO, but she was picking up certain characteristics of the woman that made red flags go off in her head.

Ooc: Lmao Mika, I Loce your character and D your reaction here is fantastic. Thank you both for the laugh I can’t wait to see how this progresses. - Cale
Najma walked around the room, with both hands behind her back, observing the layout of the room as she listened to the woman talk. “An appointment? I didn’t even want to come here. Additionally, it seems I would have to stick around longer than I wanted to with an appointment.” Najma stopped and looked at the woman, “Counselor, you should just save us both the time, evaluate me now, since I am already here. And then, hopefully, you will not have to deal with me again until my next evaluation.”
Lieut. (j.g) Moreino – CSO
Mykl turned to watch the woman stroll through her office. “That’s not going to happen. I already told you, I’m expecting someone in a few minutes. If you want to make an appointment for a later date, that’s fine. If not…well, if not, then you won’t be cleared for duty. You decide.”
—Najjar, CNS, DRO
“Oh,” Najma began with a slight frown “I see. This is not about an appointment. This is about jealousy. You don’t like me. Obvisouly because I am better than you.” she walked by the door and stood in front of it with crossed arms. “I will not make an appointment because I dont think I want you to evaluate me. I dont think you are competent for one and secondly I do not think I would get a fair evaluation.”

The woman in her office definitely needed an evaluation. She also needed a refresher course in common courtesy and humility, but even as she thought those things, Mykl doubted they would do any good. She reached up and hit her comm badge. =/\=Cmdr Reez, are you free for the next hour? There is someone in my office needing attention…a LOT of attention.=/\=
As she waited for a response, Mykl kept her eyes on Moreino.
—Najjar, CNS, DRO
Najma was offended by the comment, because she heard the emphasis and the sarcasm in the counselor’s voice. However she didn’t say anything. She just stood there, crossed her arms, rolled her eyes and sighed.
