USS Ogawa
Who Do You Think You Are?
She was free. And yet, in this new life she was still trying to answer questions she didn’t have answers to.
Namely, how did she get off the Saracen? More specifically, who was responsible?
The answer came in the form of sand. A vial of sand that triggered a memory she thought had been lost. A memory of her and Royal sitting in her new quarters on the Saracen unpacking her crate of belonging. Someone had left her a box with a message and the sand. Back then they had discovered DNA on it that told her the missing piece of the puzzle now: she had a half-brother out there.
He was connected to her being removed form the Saracen’s computer, wasn’t he? How?
Cori had to find out. She had some small clues and began to hunt. It was a hunt that would take her away from the Ogawa. But she loved Royal and would stay together with him if that’s what he wanted. But she understood if it was too hard to be apart now. She cast her cards on the table and would let things fall where they may. For now, she said farewell, full of gratitude for the ship and crew that gave her a new body and chance at a real life.
She had always been a real girl, now she could go explore the galaxy and do anything. How wonderful.
