Mark and the rest of the engineers rounded the corner to find the makeshift generator setup. “Right. Easter. Check all the connections between the generator and the clinic. Make sure everything is in the right place and compatible with both sides. I’ll look at the generator itself.” He knelt down to examine the generator. He pulled out his tricorder and started scanning. As much as he trusted the scans, he gave the generator a good look manually as well.

“Aye, Sir,” Mike said and nodded, then went to the first connecting point. Firstly, he checked it visually, looking for anything that would suggest it had an issue. Then, he pulled out his engineering tricorder and scanned the conduit, waiting for the reading to come back on anything his visual inspection missed. He’d expect his visual check would pick up if any of the conduits were misaligned or similar, while the scans with his tricorder would identify if there were any microfractures or power flow issues within the conduit that his visual check wouldn’t pick up. Once checking this connecting point, and getting the all clear, he’d move onto the next one and continue on until he reached the clinic, if he picked up any issues on the way, he would work on getting the issue sorted before moving on to the net part of the conduit that would be powering the clinic. He knew that this could be a long task if the scans came back with things being less than optimal, but he was determined to make sure it was all correct so he didn’t have to return to this task once again.
