Brad strode purposefully into the Command Center of the Owie, and made a beeline to the Engineering station.

“I would like to know exactly why Primary Sickbay has lost all power,” he told the officer manning the station.

The NLt attending the station looked to the Chief of Staff. “Im not entirely sure. I’m only monitoring since the chief isn’t here. I saw an alert pop up that something was going wrong… then power was diverted from Sickbay and Sci Labs symultaniously.... looked like it was rerouting back and then… nothing. I assume that the Chief is working on it sir. Though I don’t know what is going on exactly myself.”

Myqian wore a frown as she overhead Obzavor’s response. Moving from her ready room door to the engineering station, she peered over the readings to see if anything was different than she had seen. “Well then,” she said softly and pressed the comm button. =/\=Bridge to Engineering. “Oh, you have got to be-” Brad started, cutting himself off before he could lose composure and unleash a torrent of invective on a Bridge crew that didn’t deserve it.

How had he managed that while examining her re-breather in her quarters?

He’d have to ask once Alexis and the secondary sickbay crew got her stabilized.

=^= Bridge, this is Chief Engineer Maria, we had received an error that seemed that there was a massive power draw between the science labs and main sickbay. It seemed that something happened that caused a competition for power between the two areas. We tried to cycle power away from both areas to see if that would clear the compete. But we could not cycle power back to the areas. We ran a trace and found that one of the junctions was affected. So Lt. Navale Huzzen went to investigate the matter. Upon investigation we found that attacked to the junction there is a purple gelatinous mass that seemed to be consuming the electricity and converting it into energy which it has been using to expand its own mass. We rerouted power away from the junction and it is moving on for another energy snack, and we are currently trying to figure out what to do. Rerouting the power away from that junction should have restored the power, if it hasn’t then there may be another one somewhere. The current plan is to close off a few sections in the Jeffries Tubes and flood those sections with refrigerant to see if we can freeze the mass solid. =^=

Brad’s face scrunched up. “A blob of purple goo snacking on our EPS conduits?” he asked, somewhat disbelieving, before pinching the bridge of his nose. “I don’t get paid enough for this.”

“None of us ever do, Commander.”

He straightened up and turned to Dira. “Captain, I need to check in on the Ambassador, and question Dr. Kane. Can you let me know when Main Sickbay is up and running again?”
