One more evaluation and she would be free to get to work. The first few weeks to a month were the most difficult when reporting to a new assignment as she had to figure out the best way to help all of the medical departments stay current in their training, scheduling and treatments. Bryn was practically chomping at the bit to get her hands on the many inquiries, comments and pleas for assistance that had been piling up since the last Head Nurse was reassigned elsewhere.

Feeling good about the ship so far, she entered the reception area and spoke to the person at the desk. “Hi, Lt Bryn Shar. I am reporting for a boarding eval. I’m the new Head Nurse.”
