For instance, did you know that members of the Takaran species can consciously control their bodies down to a cellular level? I never knew that until I met one.” and he looked out the window briefly. “He was an Engineer. Very… stoic. Mildly abrasive, even. But I don’t know if that as due to his species or the fact the was an Engineer.”

: : : : T’Pris had a sudden urge to smile and the corner of her lip did actually twitch in response to the slight amusement she felt as she watched her son’s curiosity. It was a trait that she saw more when he was younger, since he had entered adolescence he had seemed to quell it.

That means they can heal themselves, diagnose illnesses, treat injuries… all with their own mind. It was a remarkable thing to see, actually.” Tressex replied.
