He pulled the micro-PaDD from his pocket and saw her leaving the Guest Quarters where her parents were staying. “Oh, of course. Great.” and he stood up from the desk in his office and stomped out the door and to the turbolift.

A few scant moments later, he was standing in front of the door to Alexis’s parents quarters, hair over half his face and a glafre that threatened to melt the very door he was looking at. He reached for the chime, stopped himself, pulled out the micro-PaDD and tapped a few commands. The door slid open and Kane stepped into the room and said with an edge only Kane could manage “What the f^<k did you say to Lex? Why is she spiraling?” to whomever was in the room.
