The duty shift finished Willow smiled and nodded her way through the corridors to her quarters. It had been a long boring day. Once through the door she pulled her boots off, dropped her uniform jacket on top and padded in her socks to her room where she flopped face first into the bed and sighed happily.

It was a few moments later that the crunch of cereal alerted her to the presence of her room mate. She didn’t turn her head. “Cereal is not dinner.” She said into the mattress.

“Duh it’s like before dinner snack.” Cai Taylor said causing her to tense ready for the inevitable yelling match. “talking of which…I thought we could maybe like replicate pizza and watch one of those old cheesy sci-fi films. Maybe the one with the skeleton guy.”

Hearing this, Willow did turn her head, frowning as if she was trying to work out the catch. Her brother stood leaning on the door frame, black ripped jeans and tshirt and bling electric blue hair over his left Eye. He needed a hair cut. The more she watched him the more he turned red.

“What?!” He flared. “It’s not a big deal it’s just pizza.”

Pushing herself up she crossed the short space.

“What are you doing…”

She pulled him into a tight hug and he tensed a second before relaxing into it. The moment was short lived but welcome, she closed her eyes and smiled happily.

“right hey get off.” He pushed at her and tried to hide the grin he was too cool for. “And could you like shower before pizza…I mean god Will.”

She ruffled his hair and he ducked under her back into the quarters while she went to find something comfortable to change into, she had half a thought of what Brad was going to say if she told him she had yet another late night but decided that on this occasion he would probably forgive her.
