Though slightly delayed, the Ogawa slipped into orbit of the fourth planet in the Carraya system. Its abundant green and ocean made it an ideal sort of place and one had to wonder why it had never held anything more than a secret POW settlement.

The woman at helm looked over her shoulder. “Geosynchronous orbit over the settlement established Captain.”

At that moment Arun entered the bridge, his hands clasped behind his back and his expression as calm as a summer lake. He walked to the XO chair purposefully, as he always walked.

Willow nodded. “Thank you Melissa.” She said to the NE.

=^=Taylor to all deparments. We have arrived at Carraya. Please check your prior orders regarding the settlement and check in with the XO. Chief of staff report to the bridge.=^=

Arun didn’t reply. He didn’t need to. Silently, his sister thought calm thoughts, centering her self and thinking of how much she believed in her brother. And Arun relaxed.

He looked at the chair for just a second before he sat down and nodded at Willow. Others looking at him probably thought he was about to fall asleep, but his dark eyes shone with excitement.
“Captain.” he said curtly as way of greeting and logged into his side console, receiving and reading readiness reports.

“I have prepared this mission together with the Chief of Staff. We have two away teams and I have two away team leaders, but it depends on whether you want me on one of them. If you do, Cmdr. Walker will lead one team and I the other. If you want me on the ship, Lt. Marshall will lead the second team. In any case I think Lt Pierce should be on Team Hospital and Lt. Marshall on team Triage. He has a lot of experience in ER.” he said.

“I admittedly don’t know much about the geography of the area, but this ship is designed to be landed and serve as a hospital itself,” Brad said. “We could set down planetside and bring all those who need treatment on board while the construction crews get to work.”

Coming in alongside the group, Rico had heard the suggestion after exiting the Turbo-lift. “Is there an area large enough to accommodate the ship? Most of the area below is thick jungle and hills. We will be lucky to find an area within range of where we need to be to set down although if we can, it would make security for our staff easier.”

Arun looked at the COS and nodded. “We’re close enough, let’s find out.” he said and looked at the science officer at the aux station. “NEnsign scan the surface to a possible landing site for the Ogawa close to the makeshift medical emergency shelter.” he said.

The bridge soundly sounded from the comm. Melissa looke at the captain again. “We’re being hailed from the surface, Ma’am. Starfleet signal from the clinic.”

“This should be interesting,” Brad murmured. He was also interested to see just how bad a shape the current clinic was in. He’d heard plenty of bad things on his way over, but hearing was different than seeing.

Since the Captain was currently distracted and this was after all his job now, he nodded to Melissa. “Put it through.” he ordered.

Mark entered the bridge and relieved the NE at OPS. He had a look at the situation. He wasn’t accustomed to trying to be an engineer from the bridge, but such was the life of a Chief. He examined the station’s readouts on the ship.

As they waited for the screen to show the hail willow said quietly “We can ask them if they have a plan in.place but i agree landing the.medical module may be the prefered method.” She glanced at Mark. “Lieutenant Pierce, how long would you estimate for us to be ready to carry out a landing if required.”
