Alexis nodded, “Of course Dr. Walker.” She stood and turned to leave. She had other appointments to get to and then she’d start on the conversion calculations.

Late that evening Alexis entered the biochemistry lab. She’d been given clearance to access the medications and she collected those as well as the water rations. She set each in order of most likely to be used first. First was the Vulcanoid medications being the closest to Romulan phisiology and needed very little tweaking. She set the water rations and dehydration and malnutrition compounds on one table and then began working on the different medications. She wanted a variety of each type, but after cross referencing she had to be choosey.

Pain medications and sedatives: Hydrocortilene, Melorazine

Stimulants and seizures: Delactovine,

Reuscitative drugs: Leporazine

Cardiac medications: Inaprovaline, Hyperzine, Metrazene

Burns and other skin wounds: Kelotane, Dermaline Gel, Dermal Osmotic Sealant

Dehydration and malnutrition treatments: IV Saline bags, Neo-Dextraline Solution, Polynutrient Solution, water rations with altered electrolyte ratios

It was three days later when Alexis finished. Once she had determined the correct conversion formulas the work moved quickly.
She’d worked double shifts and along with the other medical staff Dr Walker sent the work had moved at a steady pace. They had 2000 units/dosages of each. Alexis wasn’t sure of the numbers of ill or wounded needing help but felt that was a good start. Once finished she appeared back in primary Sickbay and knocked on Walker’s office door.

He opened the door, almost surprised to see her. “Hello, Dr. Bonner,” he said. “How can I help you today?”

“You asked to be informed of the quantities and types of supplies we converted.” Bonner handed over a PaDD. “2000 units of each. We have the chemical conversions saved to the database now so it will be simple to convert more if necessary.”

Brad took the PaDD and read through the list quickly, letting out his breath in a low whistle. “You did all this in just under three days?” he asked, impressed.

“Dr. Tija was very helpful and competent. (OOC I know she never responded but incase she wanted to step in later I wanted to give credit) I also put 3 of the medical labs and chemistry lab to work on it. Everyone put in extra hours, but it was important to have these done before we arrived. Once we had the conversions figured out the work wasn’t hard just time consuming. But we were able to adjust the formulas to work on large batches instead of individual vials, and that shortened the work amount.” What Alexis didn’t saw was she worked almost around the clock on it. It really wasn’t surprising. Once her mind had ahold of the process she could fly through the work.

“I’m sure you put in the most,” Brad said, “You look like you haven’t slept in at least two days.” He was starting to despair that he was working with a bunch of workaholics.

OOC: So I went back and read and have no idea how soon we would get there, so I just ballparked the time frame, given Alexis obsession on work and we have 185 medical and 70 science officers on board. I figured she would just pull people in to get it done…if we need adjusting I’m good with that.
