IC: “Seems that way,” Brad said, starting another scan. “Let’s get started with the basics: any recent illnesses or injuries?”

“A few mild contusions and the usual hand injuries.” Isyme lifted her hands, exposing some discolouration and tiny, already healing lacerations. “Unpacking,” she explained, “but nothing significant.”

The scans would corroborate her assurance, revealing a generally healthy Andorian. There were indications of past injury to her anterior skull, left ulna and humerus, and right hand. Otherwise, her vital signs were in healthy range — body temp perfectly chilly, pulse oxygen high, HR speedy, and BP somehow low. There were no signs of internal injury.

Brad tilted is head. “Nervous, Doctor?” he asked. The last two measures were… unusual, to say the least.

“More than usual,” Isyme nodded and offered a slight smile. “I assume you’re getting some contradictory readings?”

“Your heart is beating awfully fast, and yet your blood pressure is rather low,” Brad said. “Is this something that’s normal for you?”

“My blood pressure runs low, with occasional bouts of tachycardia,” Isyme assured. “Typically, they’re accompanied by unsteadiness and mild nausea. But they’re slight and usually fade after a few seconds. I’m not experiencing any of those symptoms now.” She assumed it was related to the nerves, but she waited to hear Walker’s thoughts.

“And this isn’t related to any diagnosed medical condition?” Brad asked, a small frown developing as his eyes narrowed. “How long have you been dealing with this?”
