Ryder was on his nightly stroll, it was past midnight which meant the officer had just finished his duty on Bravo shift and was spending the next thirty or so minutes unwinding as he made his way slowly to his quarters on deck 2. The watch had been silent though Dave had been making quite the noise, the RTF guys considered it to be the proximity to the new Anomaly or even Gen their neighborhood-friendly not a ghost. Honestly, the last few days had been rather bizarre with her arrival, the ship’s early departure, and of course Casela. None the less this was why he did his post duty walks to clear his mind before sleep.

She still wore the black leggings and oversized grey jumper she had originally appeared in but no instead of being barefoot she had the grey soft socks The counsellor had given her. The woman who was her friend. The very woman Ryder was thinking of.
