After leaving Doc Fey to work out details with ARU, Casela found her way down to engineering looking for Lt. Hampton. The man was distrustful, but she shrugged so was everyone else on this ship. She walked towards him, “Lt. Hampton, if you have a moment,” and she meant it. Engineering was way over worked, but she wanted his expert opinion.

“I was hoping to get your expert opinion. The report indicates that something is causing the crew to experience head trauma of some sort. I’ve searched the medical and psychological databases, but I haven’t found anything to make a definitive guess as to what is causing it. An RTF team will be dispatched to the Einstein to locate and contain this…whatever it is. The only records we have been able to obtain is that it sends out a signal oscillated between 0.5 and 4 hertz. Is there anything we can replicate, or create to protect the team from that signal. Hopefully protecting them, even temporarily, from the signal? Give them a little extra time to do their jobs?”
