Shortly after doing his runs on department head status from every department, he sighed in relief that it was done. He then found his way to the turbo lift. “Captains ready room.” He said to the computer. It acknowledged the order and the doors swooshed closed. As the doors shut, he was standing there in the turbo lift whistling to himself as he was minding his business. Later during the trip to the captain ready room, he realized that everything he did to check in with each department was done and he fulfilled that. The turbolift took a hault, the doors swung open and Lieutenant Commander Hall Angel had stepped off. However, he knew that the ready room was the captains quarters. So he stepped out of the turbolift and started his way over to the captains quarters. Once he arrived at the door of the captains quarters, he stood there taking a deep breath and then told himself in a somber tone to his voice to himself. “You got this Lucas. You got this. Just ring the chime and get the meeting with the captain done and then leave.” He said to himself quietly. Lieutenant Commander Hall Angel stood there again and took another deep breath before reaching the chime. Hall Angel had decided to step up to the door extended his arm out and pressed the chime, hoping that the captain is ready to receive his report. He stood there quietly and patiently.

While the ready room felt like her quarters since she seemed to spend far to much time here, they certainly were not. When the chime rang she looked at her schedule for the day, there was not one planned. “Come” she called over her PaDD as she looked through the days reports. The would be arriving at their destination soon so she was trying to get as much admin work done as possible. *I wish fleet would hurry up getting her a Yeoman.

Hall Angel stepped in. “Hello captain. Sorry for interrupting. I have all reports from all departments except Engineering. I know as chief of operations I’m typically on the bridge. But I could be useful down there at engineering as well possible temporary chief engineer till we get a replacement. However, duty reports from Chief of Security/RTF officer, and other department heads.” He said with a nod. “However, I fear that the XO, hasn’t been around of course, I also fear that we might have to get a replacement. I don’t want to overstep on anything captain. But as your Chief of operations officer, I have felt that I might have fulfilled Chief of operations, and XO duties well ma’am.” He said handing her the pad with the reports.

“Thank you Lieutenant Commander,” she said taking the Padd. “Perhaps you allow me to worry about my XO, that’s above your grade and position, I’ll keep your thoughts in mind though” she noted. “Is there anything else?”
