📖 Background

Commander Elora Kyle Myles was born on Luna in 2371 to Dr. Corinne Myles (xenolinguist and cognitive archeologist) and Commander Julian Rho Myles (Starfleet Intelligence).

Diagnosed as a toddler with Neurological Phase-Variance Instability (NPVI), Elora’s early development was closely monitored by Starfleet Medical. The condition — typically disruptive — manifested uniquely in her: enhanced reflex timing, dual-threaded neural processing, and spatial predictive awareness. By age 10, her condition was stable and resulted in tactical advantages rather than impairments.

Elora’s formative years were steeped in discipline and mental rigor. At 17, she joined the Nova Strikers, a Federation Parrises Squares team, where she rose quickly to elite status. Her athleticism and decision-making under pressure marked her as one of the top tactical minds in the sport. At 22, during a championship match, she called the game early to protect her teammates from an aggressive opposing strategy. The move sparked a media controversy and lost her several sponsorships — but her loyalty and leadership remained unquestioned. Elora walked away from professional athletics by choice.

Seeking purpose beyond competition, she enrolled in Starfleet Academy later than most, entering at age 22. There, she excelled in Tactical Command, Containment Strategy, and Starship Combat Analytics. She was recruited into an advanced breach and containment team during her senior year — part of an experimental tactical group under Lt. Commander Arlen Vresik. Her career advanced steadily from Tactical Officer aboard the USS Calestis to Chief of Security and eventually Strategic Response Liaison.

In mid-2401, she was transferred to Starbase 211 under Echo-Zeta protocol. After a confidential briefing, she was assigned as Executive Officer of the USS Leviathan — a classified anomaly-intervention vessel operating under the Anomaly Recovery Unit (ARU).
