Elora’s face was a partial smile and a measured scowl she was not happy the way the assignment had come down, now she was not going to be well liked by the crew. In the end though she had a job to do. Her black hair was pulled back into a tight bun, her command uniform fight tight, leaving little to one imagination around her fitness level. She hand never gotten out of the pro athlete mindset and was constantly working out and improving herself.

Stepping off the transporter pad she looked around to see if anyone other than the transporter operator was her to great her.

The one to greet her was her only immediate superior officer, the commanding officer himself. Shock stood with his hands clasped behind his back, his back straight, and waited while Elora Myles energized aboard. She had not been his choice, indeed, Starfleet had appointed him. He had thought it was an odd, but looking at Myles’s records, she seemed a logical choice. Despite that, he had some curious thoughts about this whole situations.

Once she stepped off the pad, he raised his right hand in the traditional Vulcan V-shaped salute.

“Peace and long life, commander. It is agreeable to meet you. I am Shock, commanding officer aboard this ship. Welcome aboard.”

“Peace and long life, Captian Shock. Elora Myles, you new Executive Officer.” She said her face curing into a sort of smile. “It is a pleasure to be here.

She looked at him. “You have a copy of my transfer orders? “

“Yes,” he said bluntly, as he made a gesture inviting her to follow him out of the transporter room. “It was unusual. It shall not be held against you, but I was curious to see it. I look forward to collaborating with you.”

Once they left the transporter room, “Where do you wish to go first?”

Elora fell in next to him, she was used to being inserted in against peoples will, her SRU time had been like that the dumped her in command of a team that had been together for a long time having just lost their Lieutenant. “We’ll Sir I guess I would like to talk about your expectations and then get to work. The I would like a tour of the containment area and the the ARU. ” he stated.
