With the Levi docked above Hades, the transfer was officially complete. Nyman was pulled away to another assignment, the ARU had already prepared a new officer to take his place. The handover was swift and quiet, without much ceremony. Vivian preferred it that way. She settled in as he finished removing his personal belongings. It all took less five hours. Now, she was in the conference room preparing to officially introduce herself,
=^= Attention all senior staff, this is Lieutenant Commander Vivian Skogheim. Report to the conference room promptly. =^=
Lt. Cmdr. Skogheim, XO
Bethany was in the CIC manning the tactical station. It was boring work, but she preferred to let the junior officers not get stuck with the boring shifts if she could help it. Besides, she was still getting familiar with the layout. She set the station to standby and nodded to the aux officer and stepped away. She entered the corridor behind the CIC and shortly down the corridor to the conference room. She entered and took a seat.
Lt. Gadi, CTO/RTF
Dorian arrived, in human guise, shortly after. He entered, looked at the XO, gave a salute, then stood off to the side.
- Dorian, CE/CA
The Commander returned the salute, pulled down her uniform top to straighten it out. Her dark eyes darted between the two, mentally mapping their names and service records to their faces. She wasn’t as mechanical in nature a Kelmain, but she did move with a careful precision.
“Lieutenant Gadi, Lieutenant Kelmain,” she began,
“As the ship’s Lead RTF Officer and Chief Containment Architect, respectively, I anticipate your reports on the current state of the anomalies you have currently in containment. I’m certain the ARU would appreciate receiving up to date information on your catalog as well.”
Lt. Cmdr. Skogheim, XO
Gadi had anticipated this and already had the report ready and sent it over to Skogheim’s PaDD. The report included current anomalies that they were hunting. Then the details on the recivery of the current anomalies in board. The rest was not within her perview.

“Received, Lieutenant,” Skogheim replied, “Very prompt of you.”
Dorian stepped over the the display and raised his hand. A metallic tendril snaked out of his wrist and plugged into a data port. The display began flashing anomalies with their containment statuses, descriptions, activity, classifications, research and experimental records (think SCP style). The information scrolled too quickly for a complete read but slow enough to see what was being displayed and the dangers the anomalies presented, if any.

Steven whooshed through the doors in stride through a life long practice of living with automatic doors. “X, reporting as ordered.” Steven walked to a chair but waited until he was acknowledged before sitting down.
Marsh CSO
Brad slipped in quietly behind the others, having had a fair bit of work tidying up after the last mission. He took a seat near the middle of the table, watching the new XO attentively.
“Have a seat Lieutenant Marsh.”
The way the Commander said it, it sounded more like an order than an offer.
“What is the current status of the science department?”
Lt. Cmdr. Skogheim, XO
Lieutenant Bradley Maxwell
Chief Medical OfficerAsh slipped into the conference room swiftly behind the CMO, “Hope Ah’m not too late?”
-Lieutenant Ashara Mavix: Chief of Security-
Adam was behind the security chief but was to engrossed in his reading material to give anything beyond a cursory greeting in a nod to the new Executive Officer.
Vivian eyed the Chief of Security as she came in,
“You have arrived within a reasonable time, Lieutenant,” she said, “You may sit.”
Seeing that almost all the department heads had arrived by now, Skogheim sent a file from her PPaD to everyone present,
“I am Commander Skogheim. As of now, I am the Executive Officer and Acting Commanding Officer of the Leviathan. The ARU has had concerns about the efficacy of this ship and her crew. As a result, I have been assigned to lead and oversee a standard surveying mission and report my findings. Every department on board will be scrutinized based off of their performance during this mission.”
She brought a map of the Dendra Star System, a small red dwarf orbited by three gas giants.
“Our target is the third moon of the second planet in the Dendra system. It has been observed to have some anomalous properties. However, it has been difficult to tell so far if it is the moon itself or some other force acting on it. Our mission will be to observe the area and attempt to make a determination as to what is the source of this anomalous behavior and create a containment plan.”
Lt. Cmdr. Skogheim, XO
Adam interlocked his fingers and eyed the new first officer, his face the usual mask of calm indifference. She was of the same generation as Adam, coming up in the fleet just after the golden age of exploration. She was tall, half Vulcan, and from a similar background, security-focused Intelligence. Her statement regarding the Leviathan’s Efficacy smelled like interruptions from higher-ups outside the ARU, it was like clockwork for any operation outside the direct Starfleet chain of command. He was curious that the commander decided to share the fact that she was there for that purpose.
CIO
Well this would be fun. She wished Aasrel was in on this meeting. She wondered what he would think of it. All of a sudden, here they are, on a new ship, undergoing another intense scrutinization of their service and work and personal lives. Coincidence? She thought not. Well they would just have go through it again. Unless they chose to resign. What would they do though?
Lt. Gadi, CTO/RTF
The Commander stood up straight,
“We are to depart for the Dendra System immediately. Additional details on what is known regarding this anomaly will be distributed shortly. However, as not much is known, I expect all departments be prepared for… the unexpected.”
She glanced around at the others, leaving the table open for additional questions or concerns.
(OOC: Have not finished the brief OOC yet, sorry! I will try to have it ready Wednesday.)
Lt. Cmdr. Skogheim, XO
The Commander raised her eyebrow,
“No questions then?”
She might’ve given away a hint of disappointment. As an instructor, she appreciated when others asked questions. She would rather someone ask and preform their duty well, than not and end up doing a substandard job.
“Then, I will be in the CIC. You are all dismissed to your stations.”
Lt. Cmdr. Skogheim, XO
